When you drive to the north through Eger, a beautiful historical town, you will arrive in theBükk mountains. Here are nice biking and walking routes. A little further you will find the National park Aggteleki. Above the surface are dense forests and below the surface there are the cave systems. The cave Baradia-barlang has a length of 22 kilometres.

When you drive to the east, you will drive into the pusta. This is the largest with grass overgrown steppe of Europe. You will also find here the largest alkali lakes and swamps with a lot of unique treasures of nature. Horse shepherds show their sturdy rider skills. The wood carved work of the shepherds are found in museums nowadays. The pusta of Hortobagy is on the world heritage list of UNESCO.

When you drive to the south-east, you will find the Tisza lake. This is the second largest lake in and is created by the people. The lake developed by building flood control dams in the Tisza river. At the lake lives the beaver, nests protected bird species and is the largest water lily field. Along the 71 kilometres long water shore nature protection and water sport can exist together perfectly. At the lake there is the resort Abadzalok, 45 minutes drive from the holiday house. You can spend your time perfectly with different kinds of water sports like: waterskiing, parasailing, jet skiing or take a trip with the banana.
